Glassix reposición

Glassix glass fibre-reinforced, radiopaque posts. Created with strong, elastic bundles of twisted glass fibres bound with composite. The glass fibres lend the posts a high elasticity (unlike hard, rigid metal posts) and do not transmit tension or blows to the dentine, thus preventing fractures. The post helps to absorb tension as it has a similar elasticity to that of dentine.

The composite bonds with the resin cement and composite used in the core buildup. Tooth retains an aesthetic, pleasing colour thanks to the special ability of Glassix posts to blend into the composite restoration without shining through.
